Prior to Spets Photography, Jenna & Emily both worked together as optometrist techs for 7 years (they have a lot of knowledge when it comes to eyeballs), and prior to that, they grew up as theatre kids and did dozens of community theatre productions together all around the valley.

As children, they shared a bedroom, did joint birthday parties, took the same acting classes and basically spent all of their time together.

When the idea of starting a business together was brought up, they knew instantly it would work. Throughout their entire lives, they never fought or argued, they balanced each other out (Jenna is type A, Emily is type B) and they always worked together with ease.

Today, they shoot all of their sessions and weddings together, edit together and also hang out together on their days off.

Although they get asked this questions frequently, Jenna & Emily are not twins...but at this point, they might as well be!
